Polytwist is a structural macro synthetic fiber reinforcement made from twisted monofilament fiber bundles, manufactured from 100% pure copolymer/polypropylene material. Polytwist, developed especially for in-field concrete applications, provides long-term maximum durability without corrosion risk thanks to its twisted structure and fibrillated fibers, while reducing plastic shrinkage and settlement cracks. Polytwist eliminates the need for traditional methods such as steel mesh reinforcement and steel wires. It is also corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, and 100% resistant to alkali and acid. Its soft structure ensures better embedment after finishing and does not appear on the surface. It reduces labor and finishing steps. Thanks to its fibrillated content, additional micro-fiber usage is eliminated. With its blended fibrillated structure, it provides both the main reinforcement and surface crack-preventing micro reinforcement in a single product.
